I started this site in the early 2000's as a potential resource.  After seeing the museum tour of the original Star Wars models I decided to scratch build my own Star Destroyer, a leftover dream from my teen years.  After searching the internet for resources, specifically precise measurements, proportions and building methods, I was saddened to realize the information just wasn't out there, furthermore I could find no real examples of anyone else attempting this project.  So, I started the site as a resouce so that next person who searched might find wha they needed to get started.
